Tonight, I saw the moon crash into the ocean.

I watched in wonder as the stars danced across the sky celebrating
their triumph over their age old enemy.

Their celestial songs of victory sung in time to the crashing of the waves would have filled the cool air had it not been for the all consuming silence
of the fallen moon engulfing everything as it slowly sunk to the bottom
of the ocean's floor.
